I've actually had some luck here at video poker and slots, not so much on their table games. TAG sports bar is one of the better places on the strip to get a craft beer, and the vibe/energy in the place is spot on. The casino is where this property shines. When we picked up our bags the bell-hop that retrieved them was actually very nice so there's that). Second, the lady at the bell desk acted like our request that they hold our bags was an intrusion on her day (she was flirting with the bell-hop). As far as service goes the hotel staff needs some help. As such it clicked on and off all night long. The AC was loud, but that was actually OK because it drowned out the noise of the Carnival Bar below (I had forgotten to get a High Roller view room) But the AC had serious trouble keeping the temperature constant in the room. The beds are OK, I didn't like the small-ish pillows but the wife really did. By this time it was late so we just gave up and went to bed. Over an hour later a tech knocked on our door, handed us a new remote and walked away without checking the TV. Called guest services and informed them of the issue with the TV, they told us a tech was coming to help. It was starting to feel like we were staying at the old Imperial Palace. On the second night the television wasn't working.
On the first morning the hot water didn't work, which is not an ideal way to start the day.
